What a night it was with upwards of 50 players and a room full of people, great fun for all.
Next ukulele Night at Charlie’s Pub and Eatery is April 12, hope to see you there.
Hi all, We have added 4 new songs to the new song list for February Ukulele NIght. One for “Fat Tuesday”, one player request, one is my choice and one Stephen Foster song just because. There are YouTube videos for each of these, maybe not the same key, but you can at least get the idea of the melody in your head.
Still no requets for Valentine type wongs but it’s not too late.
See you on Feb. 9 at Charlie’s Pub and Eatery,
Drew

Yes, winter has arrived but that will not chill the spirits of the NWPA Ukuleles.
We will be getting together for the first jam of the year on Tuesday, January 12 from 6:30 – 9:00 at Charlie’s Pub & Eatery in Edinboro. All of the usual stuff: strumming and singing for about and hour, open mic (get your song ready) and then more strumming and singing. What could be more fun than that?
So, “button up your overcoat when the wind blows free” and get on out to UKULELE NIGHT.
Hope to see you there,
Drew
I know that I have been remiss in updating this page, almost a month without my computer made that happen, well that and lazyness on my part.
Our November ukulele night was really a hoot. About thirty players and a whole bunch of new people, so much fun. This is all evident in the pictures, look!
Our next event will be on December 8 same time same place maybe some Christmas music, who knows.
It just keeps getting better & better. There were 30+ in attendance at Charlie’s Pub and Eatery in Edinboro on Wed., Sept. 10. Our player’s choice format for choosing our songs was a hit, lots of requests and a few new songs.
Again we had new players join us and everyone had a great time.
Next gathering is on TUESDAY, October 13, same place same time. Maybe a surprise impromptu get together some evening prior to that. Who knows?
Hi all,
The NWPA Ukuleles will be gathering on Wednesday, September 9 at Charlie’s Pub and Eatery in Edinboro from 6:30 to 9:00
This jam is going to be a player’s choice jam where players pick any song form our song list and by golly, we’ll play it!
There are a some new songs on the song list that I would like to go over too, all three are player choices: “Wagon Wheel”, “Waltzing Matilda” and if Don Olah is with us maybe he will teach us to play “Someone to Lava”
Looking forward to seeing all of you.
Come early, have dinner, bring a friend,
Drew
